VANESSA VESELKA

SPEAKING
I speak (and teach) on writing stories of class, power, and money, on road narratives and the experience of transience. I also speak on unions and labor organizing. I give literary craft talks on Investigative Auto-Fiction, Polyphonics in First Person Voice, and other subjects.
I’ve taught through Literary Arts, Tin House, Corporeal Writing, and The Attic Institute, and have lead writing workshops for homeless / food insecure teens, returning Afghanistan and Iraq vets, and community members of all kinds. I am comfortable with any size or type of audience.
